Cast Iron Radiators Central Heating Inhibitor 1 Litre
Nitrate Based inhibitor used for use on new heating systems.
Cast Iron Radiators and heating systems require to be fitted according to BS 7593:2019. As part of this your heating engineer will be required to add central heating inhibitor to your system to lower the oxygen levels in the water within your system.
Cast Iron Radiators have a much higher water content than standard steel radiators and we have found that installers underestimate how much inhibitor should be used in heating systems. We can provide you with the water content of your cast iron radiators and we can supply the appropriate level of inhibitor. You will need to add inhibitor for your pipes which will differ based on the size of your system and the size of your pipes.
Our nitrate based central heating inhibitor formulated for use with Cast Iron Radiators on closed loop heating systems has been developed in association with a specialist chemical manufacturer. Available in bottles of 1L, this central heating inhibitor will treat 160L of water in your system.
