Yes – every single section of our Hand Polished radiators is individually polished by hand in the UK by skilled craftsmen using specialised polishing wheels and buffing techniques. This traditional, labour-intensive process means that no two sections are exactly the same; each one bears the unique marks of individual craftsmanship. Unlike mass-produced machine polishing used by many other companies, our hand-finishing leaves a more authentic, characterful appearance. As a result, small and hard-to-reach areas of the radiator may remain unpolished, highlighting the genuine, artisanal nature of the finish.

Yes – we can supply Hand Polished radiators without the protective lacquer if you prefer a more natural, raw metal finish. However, please note that without the lacquer, the polished cast iron will be more susceptible to oxidation. To maintain the appearance and prevent rust, these radiators will require regular care, including careful cleaning and the occasional application of light oil to protect the surface.
